Richard Kaluzynski, co-founder of Kaluzynski & Madeja, is responsible for developing the firm's regional business. Richard has 20 years' Executive Search experience and started his career in the United Kingdom at Grand Metropolitan and British Oxygen. Richard was a member of the management buyout team which acquired an IT recruitment business from British Oxygen at the beginning of the 1980s, and was later a Board Member and co-owner.

In 1989, Richard, one of the first recruiters in Central and Eastern Europe, began executive search activity with assignments in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Russia. In 1995, he founded Russell Reynolds Associates in Poland, one of the first US search firms to establish a presence in the region. He built a high-level executive search business, recruiting chief executive officers and senior management for major multinationals, mainly in technology, consumer goods, financial services and in the industrial sector.

Richard studied Computer Science, e-Business and Entrepreneurship in London, Chicago and Fontainebleau. He speaks fluent Polish and English.
